Just a short drive from Ft. Myers Beach are the Edison and Ford Estates, spend the day strolling through the beautiful properties and grounds and get a glimpse of history. With over 225,000 visitors every year, this is one of the most visited national historic homes in the country.
During the month of March, Boston baseball fans can take in a Red Sox spring training game in Fort Myers. This stadium is located at Broadway and Edison Avenue, just east of Cleveland Avenue. The City of Palms stadium ticket prices range from $9 to $16. You can check out the Red Sox web site for schedule. During baseball season, you can also see the Fort Myers Miracle minor-league team play at the Hammond Stadium, also in Fort Myers, located at Six-Mile Cypress Parkway near Douglas Boulevard. Broadway Palm Dinner Theater in Fort Myers, Florida, is now celebrating its 14th Fabulous Season. The theater entertains over 150,000 guests annually. The facility has expanded a number of times and now includes an additional 90-seat "black-box" theater called The Off Broadway Palm Theater, and two banquet facilities - Cafe Cabaret and The Art Cafe. The theater seats 448 and can be found on Florida's sunny west coast between Tampa and Miami.

Over the past fifteen years, the Dinner Train, now known as The Dinner Train Theater has hosted over 350,000 patrons and has premiered over 35 new murder mystery productions.
Operating year-round, The Dinner Train Theater seats up to 200 passengers in 4 reconditioned 1930's - 1940's vintage rail cars, "Sanibel", "Marco", "Gasparilla", and "Captiva". All food is prepared on board the train in the "Marco" kitchen.

Interpretive Nature Walk - Join our marine biologist and naturalist for an interpretive nature walk along Little Estero Critical Wildlife Area. Learn about and see a variety of species of birds, crabs, snails, fish, and maybe even catch site of dolphin or manatee swim by. See a strange creature from the sea washed in and not know what it is? Take a picture of it to bring on the tour with you and see if your naturalist can identify it for you! Education about the wildlife and coastal environment provided. Beach shoes and cameras are a must. Tour is approximately 2 hours. $20 per person
Marine Life Tour - A sense of adventure is a must for this unique hands-on kayaking adventure. Join our marine biologist and naturalist and enjoy a slo w paddle out into Estero Bay to a shallow water sea grass bed for netting, sampling, and viewing of marine life. You will have the opportunity to see and learn about a variety of marine species including seahorses, flat fish, and crustaceans. You will also have the opportunity to see dolphin, manatee, and a variety of bird species all along the way. Water shoes are a must and swim suits/comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting wet are recommended. This tour is perfect for the nature and marine life enthusiasts of all ages.
